The Pi Chapter of Alpha Chi Sigma (ΑΧΣ)—commonly referred to as "AXE"—is the professional chemistry fraternity here at Syracuse University and SUNY ESF. We are the only professional chemistry fraternity, and we are a national organization. Our group consists of both men and women with various backgrounds and majors, and we are united by the common interest in the science of chemistry. Alpha Chi Sigma, as a professional organization, engages in service projects that are science-related, as well as non science-related activities. We also like to consider ourselves "part social" because we enjoy planning and participating in social events, like formal and semiformal, movie nights, and dinners.
Congratulations NIBs!
